Sacred Heart School was founded by the Sisters of Mercy in 1899. Mercy is defined as empathy or love that manifests itself in action that is practical and thoughtful, warm and open, respectful and enabling.
The values of the Sisters are still lived in our community today and form the basis of our school’s tradition and culture.
Sacred Heart School seeks to form our students through the following mercy values:
- Compassion
- Justice
- Dignity
- Excellence
- Hospitality
